A glorious Native American statement ring, it's big, bold, beautifully made, and set with a magical, mysterious stone. Melting hexagonal shapes in delicious hues of peach, pink, and orange identify this as petrified coral, possibly a rare peachy Petosky stone. The feathery textures and aquatic forms mesmerize. This sublime stone is bezel set in an oval sterling silver plaque, framed in delicate wire twist and scalloped silverwork. The plaque sits over wide triple-split shoulders that taper into a flat band. A very fine piece, it will make a wonderful addition to your collection. Circa 1980.
